After jumping in 2013 enabling me to live, love and teach around the world, being a photographer for a decade, an entrepreneur for seven years, a mama for the past two, it's been my greatest honor yet to share these very moments of turning my dream life into a reality with those mamas, entrepreneurs and photographers who know they too can bring their dreams into reality. Those I educate I do so with the upmost respect, passion, professionalism and honesty as I too have been through navigating starting, maintaining and thriving in my business.
Personalized mentor sessions included anywhere from one to nine hours of one-on-one mentoring and/or shadowing in building
an intentional business and creating inspirational time capsules around weddings, couples, families and lifestyle portraits.

Areas of expertise include, but are most definitely not limited to :
✨ Building a foundation.
✨ Understanding your WHY.
✨ What inspires you?
✨ Dream clients.
✨ Business plan.
✨ Back-up, culling, editing process.
✨ Equipment and why.
✨ My systems.
✨ Growing my family while growing my business.
✨ Owning and defining your style.
✨ Intentional living mirrored in an intentional business.

I just wanted to say thank you for being so incredible and sharing your wisdom and knowledge with me in our mentoring session last week. It was the day before my birthday, and it felt like an amazing gift for me in growing as a professional photographer. You were kind, patient, responsive, detailed, and you went above and beyond the hour time limit-which you didn’t have to do. It really meant a lot to me. You’re one of my favorite photographers ever, and it was such a treat to be able to gain some insight and use it immediately. Thank you for sharing your gifts, skills, and professional expertise with me.

Here are some of the takeaways from the mentoring session I’ve already begun incorporating into my daily:
  • I’ve begun listening to some podcasts while I work. I wasn’t sure I was going to like it at first, but it’s actually a really great way to absorb information and still get things done. Thanks for this.
  • I downloaded Photo Mechanic. It works very similarly to Canon’s Digital Photo Professional software, which I really like (can only use it when I shoot Canon, though). Photo Mechanic is really cool. I’ve been able to get some great use out of it this past week.
  • Intentionality has become a part of my daily mantra, and I think it’s helped me loads when interacting with clients, preparing for shoots, and even in the conceptualizing stage of my shoots.
  • I’ve begun taking 15-second clips of me working, building up content for Insta Reels.
  • Oh, I was shooting a subject outside last week, and I wasn’t afraid to backlight her with the sun. Such a beautiful way of highlighting the hair and making someone pop from the background. She also was really impressed with how I interacted with her during the shoot. Again, thank you so much for this. You’ve really helped me step up my game in a myriad of ways, and I’m so grateful to you for it.
Much more to work on and incorporate and try out, and I’m looking forward to it! You’ve helped breathe new life into who I am as a photographer in this season of my life, and that means everything to me!
Thank you for being who you are, and for sharing your light with the world! I may need another session with you in the future, ma’am! For now, though, I’m just going to spend time really implementing everything I’ve learned from you. I’m loving being a photographer again and you’ve played a considerable role in that! Thanks, again!

Kindest regards, Charlie
