Surprisingly, I am at a loss for words. The couples that I meet and have the honor of getting to know, document and support in telling their stories is truly magical. You see, this couple here lives in Australia, the groom - born and raised there, the bride - immigrated there due to that very love. T heir destination wedding, close to their hearts as it brought them back to the very place her roots began. Even with them living across the globe, we didn't skip a beat in getting to know one another as I truly believe, the more I get to know my clients, the better I can understand them, their connection, and therefore share their love in the purest kind of way! We met in person while I was in the late months of my pregnancy and we then had an engagement/family photo session just two days before their wedding, of which was taken entirely in the rain. Yes, the only rain we've had in months fell on the very morning of their shoot. But, we all handled it was grace as this was the one of the rare times she was rooted in the States and her brother wasn't out to sea. And then, this, this very time capsule -- their love, the stormy September sky, their vibrant flowers (a secret way into my heart), the luscious coastlines of San Clemente, I'm going to stop there.
