Ana & Blair : Torrey Pines Engagement Session

This couple.
The lighting.
This story.
This very exchange.
The depths of sharing stories.
It all has my heart thumping.

The first time I connected with this couple, it was over an hour conversation.
That of their wedding, bust mostly that of their story as it is truly so beautifully strong.
When I share their wedding portraits (not till September, I know, you'll have to wait), I will share more this very story.
But for now, I will share these engagement portraits. Ekkkk! Ana and Blair wanted a nature filled session.

We played around with various locations in and around San Diego.
Had to reschedule due to the May rain (what's up with that?!?).
But, my did it all come together so well as we delighted in a golden hour session throughout Torrey Pines State Preserve.
My, do I love this place so very much.
You see, each and every time I share a photographic exchange there,
I truly try to find new spaces, new hidden gems, new dimensions of this familiar terrain.
And man, did we do just that!

We adventured along a route that took us through thick brush on both sides of us, the cliffs just in front of us, at a time where the lighting was just GLOWING! Every few steps we took, I said, "wait, hold on, let's do this, let's do this!"
Ah, was it ever so magical. Ana and Blair, I had the best time documenting your engagement portraits.
