Ann Marie and Paul : Married : Destination Wedding : McKinney, Texas

Oh, Ann Marie and Paul.
Oh, Texas.
Oh, weddings.
I just love them all.
Not only was Ann Marie and Paul's wedding such a beautifully humble day,
but the entire weekend was spectacular as their wedding was the inaugural destination wedding
 in McKinney, Texas.

Their ceremony took place at the historic Heard-Craig Center for the Arts.
Before and after the ceremony, I made sure to take photos in just about every nook of the surroundings.
From the details shots inside the old museum, to the bride getting ready in the modern bridal suite
to the romantic portraits throughout the gardens and in front of the buildings.

And then, we leave the ceremony, to head over to the reception at the Louisiana St. Grill
and we pull up, with my smile bursting off my face.
Just to the right was an old rustic wall, to the left were historic train tracks and tucked within a corner was an old turquoise oil can, with chopped up wood and oh so much goodness around it.
After telling Paul all afternoon, "This is the last one, I promise."
And then saying, "Okay, I'm sorry I lied, just one more."
Over and over and over.
And maybe over again.
I looked at them, asked if we could take a few more pictures and they of course said, "Yes!"
Ann Marie got hers
elf situated, I took a few time capsules and then Paul came over.
The photo was arranged and just as I took it, Ann Marie looks at me with a huge smile and says,
"You're drooling over there, this one is definitively going on your website."
The smile on my face lit up even more so than it already was.
The day had been so beautiful, our interactions so positive and pleasant and then this, the acknowledgment of the passion behind my craft and vision, it was truly such a moment of personal honor, excitement and proudness.

The day, the entire weekend, it was absolutely wonderful.
Thank you Ann Marie and Paul, for being so open, so welcoming, so wonderful, so thoughtful in flying me all the way from Southern California to create these time capsules around your wedding day.
I am ever grateful.
Your day was ever beautiful.
