Austin's Surprise 21st Birthday : Huntington Beach, California

Oh, how do I love surprises. 
Okay, not the best at keeping surprises, but this one,
I was able to as the birthday boy would never find out,
at least from my mouth. 

I was so excited when I received an email from Claudia, the 21st birthday boy (or man as you will, even though he's still mamma's boy) letting me know about her plans for his surprise birthday party. 
The more I found out, the more excited I got! 
And, as it all unfolded the evening truly was so uniquely special. 

She arranged for all their family and his closest friends to meet at Rainwater Gallery in Huntington Beach. 
And they did just that. 
Everyone arrived with enough time to have a drink and share a laugh before Austin arrived. 
Then, the phone call had been made, Austin was around the corner. 
Shortly after, his brother opened the door for him and allowed him to come in first. 
As you can see by the photos below, he was oh-so-surpised and even more-so excited. 
I quickly came to learn that the soul in which we were celebrating had such a lovely charismatic, silly energy
as he so joyously appreciated and loved all those whom was around him!  

The evening was celebrated laughing and reminiscing with family members while sharing the Hawaiian cuisine. Bob Marley played in the background, Hawaiian food was served and the evening ended with a surprise performance of traditional Polynesian dancing by Tausala Polynesia. 
It truly was so very special and an event I know the entire family will always remember.
