Donna Bond's lifestyle portraits - San Clemente, California

Do it for you.
Do it for you.
Do it for you.
I’ve been on a journey with this radiantly beautiful soul over the past several years.
A journey of coaching, of immense discovery, of clarity, of remembering and being reminded of my gifts, of my worth, of the light that shines so brightly in me.

These past few years, I’ve had a number of one-on-one sessions, a weekend retreat and more so recently, a three month masterclass. Every conversation, every question ultimately leading me to understanding my soul that much deeper. More so recently, we were on a call - the last session in this coaching journey. She said, “Do you remember what you said in that video you did for me about a year ago?” Truth is, I didn’t.
She said, “You kept saying do it for you, do it for you, do it for you.”
Those words, although lost for sometime, couldn’t ring more true as I connect with my deep desire to express myself. When I do so, fully, raw, authentically, doing it for me - my words, they come effortlessly, wholly, truthfully, passionately. When I do so, for what others might want to hear, want to read, the opposite of for me - my words, they come with reluctancy, with a vagueness, with an energy that is so disconnected from the person sharing them.

This anchor, that of doing it for me, is a reminder.
A reminder to be, to honor, to love, to express, to support the me that most wants to be shared.
To hold space for the muchy conversations, the harsh realities, the deep love, gratitude, admiration, the over-joyous expression of being a mom, of being a photographer, of being an entrepreneur, of being  a lover, of being an adventurer.

For this remembrance, I am forever changed.

Recently, I had the honor of bringing to life Donna Bond’s lifestyle portraits as she updates her website and does the preparations for her upcoming book. With all that is happening, we had to pivot our plans fully. In doing so, I just trusted and in that trust, these time capsules were truly brought to life in the most raw, authentic way.
Do it for you.
Do it for you.
Do it for you.

Thank you for your support Donna Bond. I am forever grateful.
