Erica & Luis : Destination Wedding : Cancun, Mexico

Erica and Luis, 
I''m not sure words are needed at this point.
These photos, from their incredible special day, their destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico and Dreams Sands Resort and Spa  speaks volumes, speaks for themselves. 
Their love, their bliss, their passion and joy is radiated within each moment shown as a time capsule. 

As you might have or might not have read in the previous blog post from their destination trash-the-dress session. 
While in Cape Town, one fine South African summer day, I received an email.
They had tried to reach me on my American phone, but couldn't since I was out of the country, The message simply said, they wanted me to photograph their destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico. 
I just couldn't believe the message. Really? What? Are you sure? Are you serious?!? 
We quickly scheduled a phone call, talked about arragenments and before I knew it, my fiancé was changing my flight so I could come home two weeks before originally planned and photograph their wedding. 
And life continued to bless us forward. Creating timelines. Going over details for the day. 

​I arrived. Couldn't believe the very sight, the very location, the ambiance. Oh goodness, it was surreal. 
Saturday, was the day. I arrived, first saying hello to Erica and photographing her details. Then, saying hello to Luis. Photographing his details and getting ready. The day, progressed on so quickly.
Hair and make-up done. Dress, we're in it. First look, here we come. 
​Those smiles, my goodness those smiles throughout their first look. Family photos, let's get some palm trees in here! 
Ceremony, it's start time. Family photos. Romantic portraits, we have to play around with the vibrant tropical colors.
Grand entrances.Dancing, dancing, dancing and oh so much dancing! 
It all was so blissfully amazing. So tropically luscious. 

So much love. So many magical moments.  
Erica and Luis, congradulations. You two are truly meant for one another. 
Your love, your sincerity is truly contagious. 
It has been beyond an honor to create these moments for you.
