In-Home Newborn Portraits : Oceanside, Califronia

Getting to hold and document this precious little soul at just under two weeks old brought back all the feels. I honestly don't remember Orion being this small,
but my goodness, I know she was as she had to somehow come out of me!
We made the decision not to hire an outside photographer for newborn portraits as I knew I would be taking pictures of her nonstop, or at least I thought. Truth be told,
​I SO wish we had hired a photographer to come and do newborn portraits as the exhaustion was high, the energy was low and the days, just went so incredibly quickly.
I have a few "professional" photos of her at this stage, but not to the extend I wish I did. My friend, document the moments, especially with the little ones as the days, they can be long in the moment, but my do they move so quickly.
I look at my little lady, who will be five months in just a few days time and wonder where my newborn went.
