About six months before their wedding we were going over their preliminary timeline as we sat on the steps of their venue. They told me they wanted to do a first look and I giddily asked, “Do you have any places in mind? They said, “No, but wanted it to be in nature and would love some recommendations!” I said, “Let’s jump in the car I have just the place!” And you better believe I did! Just down the way from their venue is this hidden, enhanced space filled with overgrown foliage and massive trees! They loved it and couldn’t have been more stoked for their first look location! So perfect in fact that as we were getting Kate ready for the first look (perfecting the dress, the hair, the florals), she says, in the calmest voice, “Oh look, there’s a snake.” 🐍 I wanted to jump out of my skin, but her calmness, brought about a calmness in me. The snake was just a few feet away from where she so gracefully stood! THIS place, really is, just PERFECT for the two of them! Kate and Grant, your smiles seriously lit up the entire day as your love radiated to every single soul who celebrated with you!
