Oceanside Family Portraits : Oceanside, CA

I opened. I read. Chills ran throughout my entire being.
This, this is why I am doing what I am doing.
This is why I wholeheartedly love my passion of a profession.

"This is a special trip for our family - we're returning to the same house we were at in 2015.
At that time I was going through chemo, my oldest son had just graduated college and my youngest son had just been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Now,
2 years later we are returning to celebrate our family & God's blessings.
Since our last trip my oldest son got married, our daughter and son in law blessed us with a 3rd grandchild,
and I am in remission."

I immediately replied, "Yes, I am available and yes, I would be more than honored to document this very special time in all your lives."
We picked the perfect date and time, the location known as it was the vacation rental they were staying.
Thursday, during the golden hour, that was the date, that was the time.
Monday was overcast, Tuesday overcast, Wednesday overcast. Universe, please give us some sun.
Thursday morning, overcast. Thursday afternoon, thank you.
The sun was shining, a warmth was in the air, there was a special glisten to everyone and thing the sun touched.

Our session, my was it beautiful.
This very family was so warm, so welcoming, so sincere, so incredibly beautiful both inside and out.
We spent an hour and a half during the golden hour documenting this monumental time in all their lives!
I left, my heart, gratefully full.
This family session was a very powerful reminder of sharing photographic exchanges.
Each and everyone is a little different.
Each and everyone teaching me something so vibrantly new.
Each so very inspiring!
