Quarantine Life with John and Chantel - Huntington Beach, California

There are days where I wake with so much gratitude, so much inspiration.
Then, there are those days where I wake feeling utterly defeated, confused, deflated.
Where the questions run rampant in my mind, where the uncertainty is felt in my chest, where the yearning for connection is so strong it brings tears to my eyes, where the want to hug, to see, to document my clients overcomes my entire being.

This morning, while pushing myself another mile (I’ve reached just under six miles this week, ek!) I heard the words of Oprah interviewing Eckhart Tolle in my ear. Tolle said,
“Stress is not accepting the moment for what it is.”
It hit me so hard that I literally started typing while running.
This, this was the ultimate reminder that every part of my being needed.
The more I resist what is present, the greater the stress, the greater the discomfort, the greater the frustration, the greater the exhaustion.

Right now, being present is the greatest gift we can give ourselves and one another. Being present opens space to live in gratitude, to live in inspiration, to live in trust, to live in knowing that everything is going to be okay, everything really is going to be okay. Being present is what enables moments such as these, to come to life so authentically, so beautifully, so lovingly. I had the honor of safely documenting John and Chantel’s quarantine life - making breakfast, sipping their morning coffee, playing games, exercising, stretching, and truly just being present in one another’s company.

My friend, presence, being in the moment, is the greatest gift we can give ourselves and one another.
I hear you. I see you. I am with you.

Check out this power duo!
