I truly believe life brings about some of the greatest surprises.
I was down at Scripps La Jolla Pier documenting a family that has become very dear to my heart. Although the golden light is the best time to document, I schedule shoots a little early so there is a little bit of wiggle room incase people are running late.
I was finishing up my last pose of my shoot, someone started tapping my arm. I look over and the man said, "Are you almost done?!?" I looked at him and said yes, "We'll move in just one moment." He looked at me and said, "No, no, I don't need you to move, our photographer didn't show up, can we hire you?" I giggled, looked at him, quickly made a plan. I said, "Let me finish up these last few photos, say goodbye and then I have to run up to my car to get a new SD card and battery." You better believe, I gave my hugs, said good-bye to the current family I was documenting and ran as fast as I could to switch out my gear and still have enough light to document a full family session.
My oh my, life truly happens in divine timing. I had the best time with this beautiful family I had just met minutes prior!
I am grateful for being in the flow of this beautiful thing called life!
