Yesterday, while washing my car babes was riding her bike around the driveway.
She said, “I’m going on a trip. See you soon.”
I said, “Have fun!”
A few seconds later - “I’m back.”
I replied, “What did you do?”
Her… “Just sang and enjoyed my life!”

My husband and I immediately looked at one another, giggled and said , “YES!”

This moment, felt like one of those gifts from the universe. You know the ones where you pause and take it all in, like really take it in?

She’ll be four in July and already her connectedness, her awareness, her confidence, her joy, her ability to be witness to and take in the beauty of all that is - her simply enjoying her life!

This interaction and reflection has me feeling extra connected to the immense honor, gift, privilege it is to guide these little humans in this very big world.

Our presence, the way in which we show up, communicate, hold space for them to discover them creates these cyclical moments, where one day, their response is so vibrantly, “just enjoying my life.”

I find myself, bathing in gratitude lately. Truly for all that is. There are so many gifts that make its way into my existence every single day and I’m in constant inspiration to share them.

From my daughter and husband and our home. To my coaching business and the women I get to connect deeply with. To the subtle sounds of nature and warmth on my skin. To conversations about courage, living courageously and building an aligned life. To moments, such as these, documenting a dear friend and her family just after a major transition. It all is a result of embracing the present moment. Learning from it. And simply enjoying life.

Are you enjoying your life?
