Yesenia & Todd : Catholic Wedding Ceremony : Carlsbad, California

Moments like this, well, they stay very close to the heart. 
As my dear friend Yesenia was planning her marriage with her wonderful (now husband) Todd,
it was decided, they would have two ceremonies.
One, intimate Catholic ceremony with close family, friends and the bridal party. 
And the second, much larger, with a longer net of loved ones. 

Yesenia asked if I would be open to photographing her intimate Catholic Ceremony. 
And I so joyously, responded with a huge, "YES!" 
And my goodness, I couldn't have been more honored and more blessed. 
I got to spend the afternoon photographing Yesenia as our dear friend Nicole did her makeup. 
We drank mimosas, giggled and watched her get ready for her ceremony. 

After the final touches of her hair and makeup, it was time for the blessings for her mother and father,
portraits with her family and then we ventured to a beautiful church in Carlsbad, California. 
There, they engaged in about an hour Catholic ceremony, announcing their love, marriage and commitment to one another. Below, are just a few of my favorite time capsules from this very day!

It was so beautiful not only getting to watch you exchange your vows, but create ever lasting time capsules.
